over his tired body. Dubs had been
starched in the record time of 20
seconds ·and by a lad who had yet
to see his eighteenth birthday.
This sensational bout fought in
1940 was the· turning point in
Floyd Hagen's life. Floyd is the boy
that cooled Mr. Dubs, not once but
twice. The first contest went one
minute and thirty-two seconds, and
the latter, one which didn't even
give the fans enough time to get
settled in their seats, just twenty
seconds.
