Theatre No. 1 "KEEP 'EM HAPPY" IS SLOGAN OF HOLLYWOOD VICTORY COMMITTEE
Scene of Fast-·
Moving Show
The smell of grease paint per-
meated the dressing rooms at The-
atre No. 1 and two Treasure Island
audiences witnessed another out-
standing show produced under the
auspices of the Hollywood Victory
Committee on Friday, January 26.
Heading the players as emcee
was the capable Raymond Walburn,
veteran char11,cter actor. You saw

accordion, and if applause means
anything, the boys w-ere happy to
see her back.

tion of "I Cain't Say No" by Fay
McKenzie, it was certain that Is-
landers will not soon forget this
up-and-coming young starlet.
Temperatures upped when the
show's quota of dancers hit the
boards. Alana A vis, who .doesn't
know the meaning of the word
"angle," brought a breath of a
South Sea breeze with her intrigu-
ing hula. An intricate acrobatic
dance by Joyce Bayne caused "ex- NO, SHE ISN'T PLASTIC-The name of the girl at top left is Miss second performance. At the right is actress Fay McKenzie and in the
