Pre-Com IS Runner-Up Yerba Buena Island's Own little Industry Pro11es Money Sa11er
To RMS for Intra-Mural
Award; Bornstedt Wins
If the first three month period
is expected to determine the na-
,....,_ ture of events in the three months
that follow, then Radio Materiel
and P re-Commissioning can be
expected to wage a full-fledged
battle for Commodore Trophy
honors.
RMS gave all indications of
complete monarchy in the early
part of the Intra-Mural race when
they swept through the opening
four events like wild fire. Then
they spent themselves and allowed
the Pre-Com aggregation to win
three consecutive titles before
they stored awav enough vitamins
to win their fifth and final cham-
pionship. This final win was
" enough to boost their total to 62
points, 10 more than P re-Com,
their closest competitor. Not far
behind was Armed Guard and
Tadcen with 34.5 and 30 digits re-
spectively.
Away out in front in individual
scoring was D. E. Bornstedt of
RMS. Needless to say a talk with
Bornstedt was useless because the
RMS high scorer shipped out
three weeks ago.
Well, the barriers are down for
the next period and its anybody's
race. Specialists (A) and officers
will be allowed to compete.
Scheduled for initial duty will
be the tennis tourney with Tadcen
and Armed Guard established as
early favorites.
From Radio Materiel comes the
piece of wisdom- radar spelled
backwards is still radar.
