At T. I. Chapel Oct. 20
An impressive ceremony Friday

thy Kilduff. The Treasure Island
chapel was the scene of the event
with Chaplain C. H. Foltz reading
the rites. Both the bride and groom
are officers of the Receiving Ship
on Yerba Buena Island.
Mrs. Thomas Quigg served as
matron of honor -and her husband,
Lt. Commander Quigg, stood with
Ens. Kilduff as best man. The bride
was given in marriage by Captain
H. Ertz, Executive Officer of the
Receiving Ship.
Following the exchange of vows
a small reception was held in the
ward room on Yerba Buena. The
breakfast table was in white with
simple decorations. A huge three-
tier wedding cake graced the main
table. Captain E. S. Helmkamp, in
a short talk, mentioned that this
was the first time in the history of
Receiving Ship that two officers of
the command had been joined in
holy matrimony. Captain Helm-
kamp presented the just-weds with
a gift of silver, a wedding present
from officer friends of the couple.
For her marriage the attractive
