Note: When the Main Barracks (Building 11) was constructed in 1900, four auxiliary buildings (l lA, l IB,
11 C, and I ID) were also built. Building 1 IA was used as a Carpenter Shop and a Storehouse. Building
1 IB, not shown in this photograph but located to the right of Building 1 IA and behind Buildings 1 IC
and 1 ID,was the Cobbler Shop. Building 1 lC served as the Blacksmith Shop (for an undetemined
period) and the Prison/Brig. Building 1 ID was the Paint Shop and the Blacksmith Shop. By 1929,
Buildings 11 C and 11D were combined in order to expand the Prison/Brig and became known as
Building 11 C. Buildings l lA, 1 IB, and 11 C were demolished in 1959.
